We have protected well over a million acres of Amazonian rainforest in Pará, Brazil. It’s an area about three times the size of Greater London.

Our work
Our work enables local Ribeirinhos communities to gain legal title rights to their land, which in turn gives greater powers to prevent illegal deforestation.
Protecting the land is only the start of the story. With land rights, Ribeirinhos communities gain improved food security and economic stability. It means they can buy agricultural products more cheaply, and certify their own products to demand a higher price.

What we do
- We help Ribeirinhos communities gain legal title to their land, prevent illegal deforestation and promote nature conservation
- Improve food security and economic stability (both key in the challenge to resist illegal logging) through the sustainable production of honey, cassava, black pepper, açaí berry, medicine, manioc flour and essential oil
- Install WiFi to improve emergency response times in rural Ribeirinhos communities
- Install clean drinking water and sanitation facilities
- Partner with leading professors at the University of Para State (UEPA) and Amazonian University (UNAMA) to provide social care, wellbeing and mental health, and sex education.

making an impact
Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what members of the Ribeirinhos community say about our work..
“I am incredibly happy to have had the ‘car; (Land Rights Document)” done for me. With this documentation I can receive loans to invest in my property.”

“By having WIFI we feel much safer, we can report any illegal activities and look out for our community together. The solar panels also mean we can safely prevers our food.”
